Top Speed Photography is a collaboration between Calvin Lee and Brandon Shuttlesworth offering photographic services in the Oklahoma City area. It was born out of a love for photography and cars.
Calvin Lee first got into photography by messing around with his dad's old camera as a child. Finding that photography was rather enjoyable, Calvin has spent the better part of the last 15 years always bringing a camera everywhere, taking pictures and experimenting with all types of photography.
Calvin's past cars include a 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit convertible, a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder and two Nissan Maximas - one of which had full suspension work with a Stillen catback exhaust and cold air inatke. His current car is a 2002 Volvo S60 T5 with a custom 3" turboback downpipe and exhaust, IPD Stage 2 tune without torque delete, upgraded Volvo S60R Brembo brakes, front and rear IPD swaybars and endlinks along with Eibach springs and Koni FSD shocks.
In addition to his love of photography and fast cars, Calvin also likes candlelit dinners and long walks on the beach.
Brandon Shuttlesworth got into photography a couple of years ago and started out started out learning to shoot on a Nikon D80. He quickly broke that camera on a phototrip in Death Valley and has replaced it with a higher model. Ever since, he has been toting his camera around with him everywhere.
His love for cars started with a 1995 Subaru Legacy, then he moved over and worked with Saturns for a while. During this time his project car was a 1995 Saturn SW2 that was retrofitted with Crower Rods and JE forged pistons along with replacing his a/c compressor with a centrifugal supercharger. Since then he has moved onto working on his 2004 Pontiac GTO. He has also acquired another project car for a street/strip application: a 1965 Plymouth Fury. He's currently working to fix it up with new suspension, paint, interior, and a 400 CI big block stroked out to 500 CI.
Brandon loves photography and fast cars as well but doesn't like much else. He doesn't want to waste the time having candlelit dinners and he doesn't really enjoy the beach either. He's also generally busy working a part time job so he can afford parts for the project car and camera equipment.
Let's hope it gets good ones soon!
